Vaginal Filler and G-Spot Injections: Three Products Compared

Vaginal filler is an injection that places a soft material in the vaginal wall, with no cut and no stitches, for women bothered by a feeling of looseness. At S Women's Clinic, Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee, a female OB/GYN specialist, chooses between WINKFEEL HERA, WonderFill and JILL'SOF, and the injection takes 10 to 20 minutes. Any change is temporary.

Who asks about vaginal filler, and when injections are the wrong tool

The vaginal canal stretches with birth, with years and with shifts in hormones, and no two women feel that change the same way. Feeling a little less snug than before is common and is not a disease. Filler is one option for women who notice it, would like to avoid an operation, and accept that the effect wears off over time.

  • A mild feeling of looseness after one or more vaginal births
  • Wanting a treatment that fits a few days in Seoul, with no wound to look after
  • Having had vaginoplasty for women (vaginal tightening surgery) in the past and asking about a top-up of volume
  • Curiosity about the G-spot injection that is offered inside a combined package

When Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee will say no to vaginal filler

Injections are not given while you are pregnant, or while an infection, a sore or unexplained bleeding is being checked. A bulge you can see or feel at the opening, a dragging weight low in the pelvis, or urine leaking when you laugh or lift points to prolapse or incontinence, and filler does nothing for either; those symptoms need their own assessment first.

Laxity that is marked, with a perineum that healed thin after tearing, usually needs surgery to change the shape of the opening, and Dr. Lee will tell you that plainly. She may also turn the request down when it seems to come from a partner, or when the hope is for a specific outcome that no injection can promise.

How vaginal filler is placed, product by product

All of the products used here are injected through a fine needle into the wall of the vagina, where they take up space and give the tissue more bulk. The difference lies in what the material is made of, how firm it feels and how the body handles it over the following months.

  • WINKFEEL HERA is a cross-linked dextran gel made for the temporary improvement of vaginal laxity symptoms in adult women. It is priced per cc.
  • WonderFill in its pure form is a concentrated collagen filler, made from acellular dermal matrix and mixed with a small amount of saline before injection.
  • Cushion WonderFill adds saline and hyaluronic acid (HA) to that collagen base, which gives a softer, more cushioned feel.
  • JILL'SOF is an electric micro-injection device, the basic model, that spreads small doses of genuine HA across the lining through a very fine single-use needle.

Which one suits you depends on what Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee finds when she examines you, how much volume is needed and how firm or soft you would like the result to feel. The amount, counted in cc, is agreed before anything is injected.

On the day of a vaginal filler injection

  1. A one-to-one consultation and pelvic examination with Dr. Lee, who confirms the product and the amount with you
  2. Numbing cream is applied; if you prefer to be asleep, sleep sedation can be added for an extra fee
  3. The filler is placed at several points along the vaginal wall
  4. Ten to twenty minutes later you rest briefly, dress and go back to your day

The G-spot injection, offered within a package

The G-spot injection places 1cc of filler in the so-called G-spot area on the front (anterior) wall of the vagina. For this step the clinic uses a long-lasting HA filler, a different material from the dextran gel above. Anatomical studies have not agreed that a distinct G-spot structure exists (Kilchevsky et al., 2012; Vieira-Baptista et al., 2021), and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has said that “G-spot amplification” is not backed by evidence, so the clinic describes it by location alone and makes no claim about what it changes. In Korea the procedure carries a nickname taken from Yang Guifei, a Tang-dynasty consort whom Western readers might compare to Cleopatra. It is not sold on its own: the 1cc is part of a package with WINKFEEL HERA and a vaginal laser session, listed in the price section below.

After vaginal filler: the first week

  1. Day 0

Injection of 10 to 20 minutes. Mild aching, a little spotting or a sense of fullness is common. You can fly home the same day.

  2. Day 1

Swelling and tenderness are at their peak around now. Skip tampons, baths and swimming, and wear loose underwear.

  3. Day 3

Most soreness has faded. Keep to walking and light activity until day 3 or 4, then return to your usual exercise.

  4. Day 7

Intercourse is possible from day 5 to 7. Fever, rising pain or a firm, tender lump needs a doctor's check promptly, wherever you are.

Vaginal filler risks, and how thin the evidence is

Filler injections are a small procedure, yet they still carry real risks, and Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee goes through each one before you agree to treatment:

  • Bruising, swelling and light spotting for a few days
  • Lumps or nodules, or filler shifting away from where it was placed
  • Infection, occasionally forming an abscess that needs drainage and antibiotics
  • A granuloma, a firm inflammatory lump that can appear months later
  • A foreign-body feeling, or pain during intercourse
  • Injection into a blood vessel, which is rare but can block circulation
  • Little or no change you can notice, since response varies

A 2022 review gathered rare reports in which filler injected into the genital area migrated to the lungs, some of them fatal (Wang et al., 2022). This is the reason for a careful technique, a check of your medical history and an honest talk about whether filler is needed at all.

Published research on vaginal filler is limited. A 2016 review described injectables for the genital area as an emerging trend, with little data on outcomes (Vanaman et al., 2016). A 2026 case series on HA injected into the vagina, the material used for the G-spot 1cc and JILL'SOF, reported favorable findings, but it had no comparison group and sits at the lowest level of evidence (Yi et al., 2026). We found no peer-reviewed study of a dextran filler used in the vagina. WINKFEEL HERA is intended to give a temporary improvement, so the clinic does not promise how long any effect will last.

Vaginal filler and G-spot injection: questions answered

Does the doctor who examines me also do the injection?

Yes. Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee, a Korean board-certified OB/GYN specialist practicing near Gangnam Station since 2008, examines you, chooses the product with you and places the filler herself. She is the clinic's only doctor, so no one else takes over once you are on the treatment chair.

Can I fly home on the same day as my vaginal filler?

Yes. The clinic's guidance is that you can fly home on the day of a vaginal filler injection. On a long flight, wear loose clothing, walk the aisle now and then and drink water, and contact a doctor if fever or worsening pain appears after you land.

How soon can I have sex after vaginal filler?

Intercourse can resume after 5 to 7 days, once any tenderness has settled. Waiting lets the filler stay where it was placed while the tissue calms down. If sex is painful after that point, or a lump feels sore, send Dr. Lee a message so she can advise you.

Are vaginal filler prices listed with or without VAT?

Both are shown. Each product appears first without VAT, the way the clinic writes its fee schedule, and then with 10% VAT added, which is what you pay. Foreign visitors cannot reclaim VAT on cosmetic procedures since the refund scheme ended in 2025, so plan with the VAT-inclusive amount.

Can I book and talk to the clinic in English?

Yes. Questions and bookings can be handled in English through the form on this page or on WhatsApp, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. During your visit the clinic can look after you in English, from the consultation to the injection.
