Cosmetic gynecology, also called female genital cosmetic surgery, covers procedures that change how the vulva and vagina look or feel. What cosmetic gynecology at S Women's Clinic covers

The clinic's menu falls into five groups. Some treatments are operations with a stitched wound; others are injections, energy treatments or laser sessions that leave no incision. Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee performs all of them herself, and the group a treatment belongs to largely decides how long you need to stay in Seoul.

1. Surgery for the labia, the vaginal canal and the clitoral hood

  • Labiaplasty (labia minora reduction): trims longer or uneven inner labia, on one side or both. The full correction option also reshapes the folds beside the clitoral hood. The incision device is the Vesalius QMR radiofrequency surgical device, and the edges are closed with dissolving stitches.
  • Clitoral hood surgery: removes excess hood skin and includes a lift of the hood; it can be booked on its own.
  • Vaginoplasty for women (vaginal tightening surgery): narrows the lower vaginal canal and repairs the perineum, typically when childbirth has left a lasting sense of laxity. A package adds shaping of the mucosal ridges and an intimate PRP injection.

All three are done under local anesthesia or sleep sedation, which carries a separate fee, without a hospital stay. Dr. Lee examines you the morning after surgery, and you can fly home from that afternoon. When labiaplasty and vaginoplasty are planned for one visit, the combined fee is adjusted from the sum of the two and confirmed in your quote.

2. Injections for the vaginal wall

  • Vaginal filler: three products, each injected into the vaginal wall: WINKFEEL HERA (cross-linked dextran), WonderFill (a collagen filler, pure or as a softer cushion version) and JILL'SOF.
  • G-spot package: a 1cc injection into the so-called G-spot area on the front (anterior) vaginal wall, offered only together with WINKFEEL and an EVERO laser session.
  • Intimate PRP injection: platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood and injected at the clitoris and the G-spot area. Research on it is small and uncontrolled.

3. Energy devices aimed at vaginal laxity

Three devices deliver heat to the vaginal wall without cutting: Ultra Vera HIFU (focused ultrasound), ISIS Revive (radiofrequency) and Finexel EVERO (fractional CO2 laser). They are designed to prompt the tissue to remodel over the following weeks. International gynecology societies regard the evidence for these devices as limited, and Dr. Lee explains that before any session. Each can be combined with another device or with PRP in a set.

4. Outer labia: volume and skin quality

For the labia majora, the clinic uses Shurink HIFU (a separate machine from the vaginal Ultra Vera HIFU), Rejuvial filler, Rejuran (a polynucleotide injection) and Juvelook Volume, which is injected into the outer labia and, if you wish, inside the vagina. These products were developed for the face, so the doctor discusses realistic expectations before treating this area.

5. Lightening and Brazilian laser hair removal

  • Lightening: a fractional laser for the labia minora or for the nipple and areola, and a toning laser with a peel for body areas around the bikini line and perineum, or the underarms. Sessions are about one month apart; the clinic's guidance is that the effect lasts around a year, varying from person to person.
  • Brazilian laser hair removal: the 800 nm diode laser ALLIE LITE (Elesys) treats the bikini line, labia, perineum and perianal area; the Full Brazilian (all-off) removes all pubic hair. Sessions are also spaced about a month apart, and the clinic's guidance on how long the reduction holds is again around a year, depending on the person.

When the answer is no treatment

Labia differ widely in length, shape and color, and most women who ask about surgery fall within the normal range (SOGC, 2022). Dr. Lee says so when that is what she finds. She also declines when a request is unlikely to help or when another condition needs attention first.

Planning a visit from abroad

Consultation and treatment can be planned for the same trip. After filler, laser, the energy devices or lightening, flying home on the day of treatment is possible. After any of the three operations, plan for one night in Seoul and a check with Dr. Lee the next morning; long-haul flights are fine from that afternoon in loose clothing that does not press on the area. For six months after surgery she reviews the photos and questions you send by messenger herself. Let us know your period dates when you book, since the day of surgery and the two or three days after it are best kept clear of menstruation.

What the fees include and how payment works

The surgical fee covers the check the morning after your operation and the follow-up examinations at about one week and one month. Sleep sedation is charged on top. Whether medicines and the sitz-bath solution are included is confirmed in your written quote. Foreign visitors stopped receiving the VAT refund on cosmetic procedures at the end of 2025, so the VAT-inclusive figure is the one to budget for.

Foreign credit cards are accepted. The clinic has no written deposit policy; its current practice is that a deposit is refunded if you cancel before the day of surgery, kept if you cancel on the day itself, and carried over if you move the date. A refund of the surgical fee follows the usual practice of Korean medical clinics.

Cosmetic gynecology questions

What is cosmetic gynecology?

It is the part of gynecology that deals with the appearance and comfort of the vulva and vagina rather than with disease. It includes surgery such as labiaplasty and vaginoplasty for women, and non-surgical options such as fillers, energy devices and lightening. Medical societies also use the term female genital cosmetic surgery.

How much does cosmetic gynecology cost in Seoul?

It depends entirely on the procedure. Every fee at S Women's Clinic, from a single hair removal session to vaginoplasty for women with a package, is listed in the price section above, each shown before VAT and with VAT. Your written quote follows the examination.

Is there an English-speaking female gynecologist at the clinic?

Yes. Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee is a female, Korean board-certified OB/GYN specialist, and English is spoken at the clinic on the day of your visit. She is the only doctor, so you will not be passed to anyone else.

Can I pay with a foreign credit card?

Yes. The clinic accepts foreign credit cards. Fees are charged in Korean won, so your card issuer converts the amount and may add its own foreign transaction fee; check that with your bank before you travel.

Is the deposit refundable if I cancel?

Under the clinic's current practice, yes if you cancel before the day of surgery. A cancellation on the day of surgery itself is not refunded, and if you only change the date, the deposit stays on your booking. There is no written policy, so confirm the terms when you pay.
