Juvelook Volume is an injectable made of poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) particles and hyaluronic acid, used at S Women's Clinic to add fullness to the labia majora, the outer labia. If you ask, part of it can also be placed inside the vagina. Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee, a female OB/GYN specialist, examines you first, and the treatment is priced as one 8cc plan.

Who asks about Juvelook Volume for the outer labia

The outer labia hold a cushion of fat under hair-bearing skin. That cushion can shrink with menopause, after a large weight loss or after childbirth, and the skin over it may then look looser or creased. These are normal changes, and outer labia vary a great deal in size and shape between women. Juvelook Volume is one way to restore some fullness when the change bothers you.

Concerns behind the question include:

  • Outer labia that look thinner or flatter than they used to
  • Creasing of the outer labia skin as volume has gone
  • A preference for a gradual change in place of an immediate one

When Juvelook Volume is not the right choice

Because the PDLLA part works over weeks, Juvelook Volume does not give a finished shape on the day; if you need to see the result before you fly home, a hyaluronic acid filler on the labia majora page may suit you better. Injections cannot remove a large fold of loose skin. An active infection, a herpes flare, an unexplained lump or swelling, or a history of reactions to injectable fillers needs to be discussed first. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, say so at the consultation. Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee will also tell you if she thinks no treatment is needed.

How Juvelook Volume works in the labia majora

Juvelook Volume is made by VAIM, a Korean company, and is described by its maker as a PLA and HA hybrid. It combines two components with different roles:

  • Hyaluronic acid carries the particles and gives some immediate volume, which the body absorbs over time.
  • PDLLA particles, a biodegradable polymer, are designed to prompt the body to lay down its own collagen around them gradually, so fullness is expected to build over the following weeks.

This two-stage action is the main difference from a plain hyaluronic acid filler, whose volume is visible straight away and depends on the gel itself. The product was developed for facial treatment, and we know of no published studies on its use in the outer labia, so how much volume each woman gains cannot be predicted.

Juvelook Volume treatment, step by step

  1. Examination of the outer labia with Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee, who discusses where volume has been lost and whether this product suits you.
  2. The area is cleaned and numbed by the method agreed at consultation.
  3. The 8cc of Juvelook Volume is injected into the fat layer of both outer labia, and, if you have asked for it, part is placed inside the vagina.
  4. The area is checked, and aftercare is explained before you go.

Juvelook Volume price in South Korea

The clinic offers Juvelook Volume as a single 8cc plan. As with every fee on the schedule, the first figure is before tax and the second includes the 10% VAT charged at payment:

  • Juvelook Volume, 8cc: ₩660,000 (with VAT: ₩726,000)

The plan covers both outer labia. If you also want the vaginal option, ask at consultation how the 8cc would be divided, since the fee schedule lists a single 8cc plan. Whether a further treatment would be useful is discussed once the result has developed. Foreign visitors cannot reclaim the VAT, because that refund for cosmetic treatment ended on December 31, 2025.

Juvelook Volume side effects and limits

Any injection in the genital area carries risk. Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee explains these points before treatment:

  • Swelling, bruising and tenderness for several days
  • Small lumps or nodules under the skin, which with PDLLA products can appear weeks or months later
  • Infection at the injection points
  • Uneven fullness between the two sides
  • Injection into a blood vessel, a serious event that can block circulation
  • Less volume than hoped, since the collagen response differs between women

Research on this product comes from use in the face, and there are no published trials in the labia majora or the vagina. That is why the plan is made only after an examination, and any further treatment is discussed only after reviewing how your body has responded.

Juvelook Volume FAQ

How soon can I fly home after Juvelook Volume?

There is no wound or stitch, and your flight date is agreed with the doctor when you book, since the clinic has not set a fixed rule for this injection. During the flight, wear loose trousers or a skirt and avoid pressure on the outer labia.

When can I have sex after Juvelook Volume?

Wait until swelling and tenderness have gone down and the doctor has agreed, and ask before you leave how long that is likely to be in your case. This matters more if part of the injection was placed inside the vagina, where friction could disturb the product.

Does a female doctor see me for Juvelook Volume?

Yes. Dr. Hye-Yeon Lee, a Korean board-certified OB/GYN specialist practicing near Gangnam Station since 2008, is the only doctor at the clinic. She examines you one to one and explains whether Juvelook Volume is a sensible option for you.

Is the Juvelook Volume price before or after VAT?

Both are shown. The first amount follows the fee schedule and excludes tax; the second includes the 10% VAT you pay at the desk. The VAT refund for foreign visitors on cosmetic procedures stopped at the end of 2025.

Can I talk to the clinic about Juvelook Volume in English?

Yes. English is spoken at the clinic on the day. Before your trip you can ask questions in English on WhatsApp or through the form on this page, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
